USE OF THE NAME AND SEAL OF THE CONSULATE

The Consulate appeals to the public to refrain from using its name without its consent and in a manner that may convey the impression that the Philippine Consulate General is endorsing,
promoting or sponsoring a particular event, organization or business activity.

In this regard, the public is requested to secure the written consent of the Consul General prior to the printing or distribution of promotion materials, posters or flyers which bear the name and seal of the Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles.

From May 15, 2019, the Consulate cannot authenticate the signatures on the following public documents:(1) notarized documents and (2) documents signed/issued/certified by a Federal, State, County, City, University or School Official.

The change is due to the Philippines officially becoming a party to the Apostille Convention.
