1. ePassport Fees (payable in cash, credit card, US postal money order, or cashier’s check payable to the Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles)
New or First and Damaged ePassport Application: US$ 60
Lost ePassport: $150
If securing your affidavit with the Consulate General, a fee of $35 ($25 notarial fee plus $ 10 expedite fee) applies.
2. All ePassports are printed in the Philippines, and it may take up to eight (8) weeks before ePassports are received from the time they are processed by the Consulate General. The Consulate General endeavors to send out received ePassports within two working days after an ePassport shipment is received.
3. Applicants are advised to take note of the USPS tracking number of their mailing envelope and to track their ePassport package regularly. The non-receipt/loss of the ePassport package should be reported to USPS and to the Consulate General as soon as possible.
4. The Consular Officer reserves the right to require additional documents if deemed necessary to ascertain the applicant’s eligibility to a Philippine ePassport and travel document.
