MISSION
The Consulate General of the Philippines in Los Angeles was established in 1947 to implement Philippine foreign policy within its jurisdiction and foster closer relations with the ever-growing Filipino-American community.
It serves the needs of the largest Filipino community in the United States through the following services: assistance to distressed Filipinos, economic diplomacy, issuance of passports and visas, civil registration, notarials and other legal services, and the promotion of Philippine culture.
AREAS COVERED BY THE CONSULATE
The Consulate exercises consular jurisdiction over the following territories:
- Southern California covering the counties of Los Angeles, Orange, San Diego, Imperial, Riverside, San Bernardino, Ventura, Santa Barbara, Kern, and San Luis Obispo;
- Southern Nevada covering the counties of Clark, Lincoln and Nye; and
- State of Arizona (covering all counties).
