The Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park was inscribed in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1999 and recognized as one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature in 2012. Approximately 82 kilometers long, the park’s river is the second-largest underground river in the world, made even more unique by its spectacular limestone landscape. The national park is situated within the Saint Paul Mountain Range on the western coast of the island of Palawan.
