The Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles joins the nation in celebrating the National Flag Days! 🇵🇭 Observed from 28 May to 12 June, National Flag Days honor the first unfurling of the Philippine flag on 28 May 1898 in Cavite, Philippines, following the victory of Filipino revolutionaries at the Battle of Alapan. Presidential Proclamation No. 374, s. 1965, declared 28 May as National Flag Day, while Executive Order No. 179, s. 1994, extended the celebration through 12 June, Philippine Independence Day. Let us proudly display and wave the Philippine flag as a symbol of our freedom and national pride. #Kalayaan2026 #NationalFlagDays
