Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles officials attended the Future of Global Los Angeles event organized by the Los Angeles World Affairs Council and Town Hall (LAWACTH) featuring a conversation with LA Mayor Karen Bass

During the talk, Mayor Bass highlighted the importance of LA’s global ties and the opportunities for Angelenos that the World Cup and the Olympics would bring, particularly for small businesses and in promoting LA’s cultural diversity. She also used the opportunity to encourage the youth of LA to consider developing their potential as future leaders in joining the Foreign Service or the Peace Corps.
